Research On Operating Efficiency Of Shanghai Sports Competition Performance Enterprises Based On DEA And Malmquist Methods

As a pioneer in the development of China's sports industry,Shanghai has made remarkable achievements in the development of the sports competition and performance industry.From 2015 to 2018,the scale of the sports competition performance industry continued to expand.Faced with the continuous entry of new competitors,the speed of corporate competition and reshuffle has accelerated,and the operating level of Shanghai sports competition performance enterprises has improved,but the level of corporate profitability has been low or even declining.Under this background,research on business operating efficiency Very important.This article selects 63 sports competition performance companies as the research object.Based on the evaluation of the existing industry's "input-output" indicators,combined with the operating characteristics of sports competition performance enterprises,it is scientific,systematic and operable in principle,finally select operating costs and period expenses as input indicators,and operating income and operating profit as output indicators.While using the DEA method to evaluate the operating efficiency of sports competition performance enterprises in Shanghai,the Malmquist index method is introduced to conduct a dynamic analysis of the operating efficiency of the enterprise,which can better grasp the operating efficiency of the enterprise from both static and dynamic perspectives.After empirical analysis,the following conclusions are reached:First,from the perspective of static efficiency.Take 2018 as an example.In 2018,the average comprehensive efficiency of Shanghai sports competition performance enterprises was 0.476,the pure technical efficiency was 0.652,and the scale efficiency was 0.768.The overall efficiency,pure technology efficiency,and scale efficiency of the enterprises were different.Most enterprises have low efficiency values.From the overall vertical efficiency results from 2015 to 2018,only a few companies achieve DEA effectiveness every year,and the overall performance of Shanghai competition performance enterprises is relatively low.The number of companies with relatively effective operating efficiency over the past four years were 6,6,9,and 6,respectively,accounting for a small proportion of the total number of decision-making units,and only one company achieved 4 years of continuous effective DEA,and 2 companies achieved 3 years of continuous effective.The comprehensive efficiency of many enterprises has shown a downward trend in the past four years,indicating that the irrational input and output of enterprises is more serious.In the past 4 years,a total of 5 companies have achieved pure technical efficiency for 4 consecutive years.A total of 17 companies have achieved scale efficiency for 4 consecutive years,accounting for 27%.Second,from the perspective of dynamic efficiency,the average total factor productivity of Shanghai's competition performance enterprises is 0.987,and more than half of the enterprises have achieved an increase in total factor productivity year by year.From the perspective of changes,the total factor productivity index of sports performance enterprises in Shanghai has shown an upward trend in the past four years.From the perspective of numerical characteristics,2016-2017 and 2017-2018,the total factor productivity of Shanghai sports competition performance enterprises are greater than 1.The total factor productivity of 2017-2018 is 1.012,which means that 2018 is better than 2017.The overall total factor productivity of sports competition performance enterprises increased by 1.2%,but overall operating efficiency improvement was not obvious.The scale efficiency from 2015 to 2018 is less than 1,indicating that the scale of Shanghai sports competition performance enterprises is currently shrinking slowly.The improvement of the company's total factor productivity mainly depends on the growth of the technological progress index.From 2015 to 2018,a total of 56 companies achieved an increase in the efficiency of the technology progress index,accounting for 88.89%.Based on this,it can be predicted that the technology progress index of Shanghai sports competition performance enterprises will continue to rise for a period of time.Finally,according to the analysis results,the following suggestions are put forward: first,to improve the efficiency of scale and achieve economies of scale;second,to increase organizational innovation and improve the innovation system;third,to strengthen cooperation between enterprises and bring into play the agglomeration effect.Fourth,optimize the competition environment and innovate funding models.
