Research On The Development Of Agricultural Regional Specialization From The Perspective Of Modern Agriculture

In the specific geographical area,according to the principle of comparative advantage,organizing the production of agricultural products with high economic benefits and gradually forming a regional specialization operation pattern is one of the effective ways to improve the comprehensive competitiveness of agriculture,promote agricultural efficiency and increase farmers' income.As an important agricultural and forestry product production base in Gansu Province,Pingliang City's regional agriculture production follows the development principle of "appropriate measures according to local conditions and rational layout".Through continuous optimization and adjustment of the agricultural production and management structure,specialized production layouts have basically taken shape,the scale of production of advantageous industries has continued to expand,and the comprehensive competitiveness of agriculture has gradually improved,but there is still a certain gap to realize the modernization of agriculture.Therefore,under the new historical background,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study how to make full use of the limited agricultural resources in the region,seek a reasonable and effective way,steadily promote the professional development of agricultural regions and transform and upgrade to modern agriculture.The paper systematically sorts out relevant domestic and foreign literature,based on the theory of specialized of labor division,comparative advantage theory,agricultural zoning theory,and traditional agricultural transformation theory.Combined with the practice of agricultural regional specialization development in Pingliang City,Gansu Province,and based on the qualitative analysis of the basic conditions and development status of its regional specialization,based on the dynamic panel data of main crops in Pingliang City from 2008 to2018,the location entropy index measure the level of specialization to understand its degree of specialization and the layout of its superior production areas.At the same time,from the perspective of family farmers,selected sample areas in Pingliang City to conduct field investigations,and used the multivariate and ordered Probit model to conduct empirical analysis of factors affecting agricultural regional specialization.The study concludes: first,the regional specialization of agriculture in Pingliang City was formed under the basic conditions of regional natural resource endowment,agricultural production factor supply,market demand orientation,agricultural policy support,and historical and customary factors.Second,there are certain differences in the level of specialization of specific crops among the counties(districts)of Pingliang City,but on the whole,the pattern of specialized production in agricultural regions has now taken shape,and the advantages of large-scale production are outstanding.Third,the cultivated land area of farm households,the status of receiving agriculturaltechnical training,the status of agricultural support policies,the participation of farmers' professional cooperatives,the number of cultivated land,and the number of agricultural labor force are important factors that affect the professional production and operation of agricultural regions.Fourth,the difficulties of Pingliang's agricultural regional specialization in connecting with modern agricultural development mainly include the contradiction between small-scale management of rural land and modern agricultural scale,the contradiction between the concurrent operation of agriculture and the specialized production of modern agriculture,the contradiction between the quality of agricultural labor force and the application of modern agricultural science and technology,the contradiction between the standardization of agricultural production and the quality and safety of agricultural products,the contradiction between the single agricultural industry chain and the modernized agricultural industrialization.Based on the above,on the basis of the above research conclusions,policy recommendations are proposed to strengthen the development direction of agricultural regional specialization,develop agricultural moderate-scale operations,accelerate the cultivation of new-type agricultural management entities,improve the level of agricultural industrialization management,and improve the construction of agricultural public service systems.
