Core Competencies,the concentrated reflection of the value of educating people based on the new era,can lay a solid foundation for students' lifelong development and contribute to the inheritance of human science and the development of society.In order to achieve the goal,China is carrying out the reforms of curriculum and teaching based on the each semester and discipline.In the constant exploration,the Project-Based Learning(PBL)has entered the vision of educators and quickly attracted widespread attention from domestic scholars and teachers in recent years.PBL is characterized by real situations and leads students to carry out challenging research projects based on living materials.It advocates solving practical problems and allowing students to form an understanding of important knowledge and key capabilities.In a certain extent,the cultivation of core literacy can cultivate the core literacy of the subject.Under the guidance of the Physics Core Competencies,this research combines the constructivism theory and “learning from doing” theory and cooperative learning theory to construct a PBL model,which is divided into three modules:“project design”,“product production and demonstration” and “evaluation and communication” These three modules are refined into six links,all corresponding to the specific objectives of the Physics Core Competencies.Based on the theoretical framework,the “electromagnetism” theme in the two courses of “design and production of high school physics experiment” and “college physics” is selected to carry out teaching practice.The items involved in the project learning mainly include “self-made lighting from a distance” “self-made electromagnetic gun device” etc.In the process of project development,in order to promote students' knowledge construction,thinking development,quality training and skills training,3D printing technology is also integrated in the PBL to cultivate students' divergent thinking ability and innovation skills.In order to test the practical effect,a “project learning evaluation scale” and a process evaluation tool “work list” are developed on the basis of “SUMS scale” and “CLASS scale”,which are used as evaluation tools for the core accomplishment of college students' physics discipline.And use Winstep and SPSS to make statistical analysis of the evaluation results.(1)The conclusions of “project learning evaluation scale” are: Before the project learning,the students have many misconceptions such as “electromagnetic induction” and “ampere force”,and lack of relevant knowledge combined with practice and understanding of the nature of relevant models.Their attitude of seeking truth from facts and the sense of innovation in dealing with physical experiments also need to be improved.However,after completing the PBL,the physics ideas,scientific thinking and scientific attitude and responsibility have all been significantly improved.Among them,the development of scientific thinking is the most remarkable.(2)The conclusions of “work list” are: 57% of the students have improved in the level of the physics ideas.16% of the students have improved in the level of scientific thinking.In the scientific inquiry dimension,76% of the students have improved in the level of “problem” elements and 73% have improved in the “evidence” elements.PBL reflects the cultivation value of the physics core accomplishment.
