With the coming of the knowledge economy and information, a higher requirement is called in college education. Practical, comprehensive, innovative abilities become the tad of the qualified persons. So the training of highly qualified person with initiative and creativity is the priority of higher education. Some of good colleges have entered the stage of the school of "985" as the representative of elite education. As a science and engineering professional public courses,college physics experiment course has always been the lead and center of the university reform.Affected by the traditional education and examination-oriented education system, college physics experiment course has not get enough attention, at the same time because it has the specialty of practicality and innovation, there is a lot of place for improvement and innovation in student learning and teaching, the exploration in college physics experiment teaching and learning is critically important.The paper is divided into four chapters, the first chapter discusses the importance and significance from of the relationship of physical experiment and physics, natural sciences and industry; The second chapter points out college physics experiment teaching problems and its causes from the contras of secondary schools and universities, domestic and foreign; Chapter three gives some feasible proposals from the perspective of students, teachers and other college physics experiment of teaching, such as strengthening the subjectivity of students and teaching in different levels; The fourth chapter focuses on the assessment of it to improve the teaching quality of college physics experiment.
