Experiment of College Physics, an integrated and systematic practical basic course for engineering college students to engage in scientific experiment. In view of technological development and intellectual requirement of scientific quality in 21st Century, for the innovation of physics experimental teaching, a sort of new teaching system must be set up to suit contemporary development of science and technology in favor of fostering intellectuals of high-quality with a solid elementary knowledge and creative ability, The experimental teaching must be altered from "Closing" to "Opening". The teaching content ought to reflect the current educational ideology and high technological achievements, the teaching approaches and measures should be transferred from the traditional single pattern to the opening lab in order to meet the needs of students in different levels by means of modern CAI and Internet, and the teaching conditions should be improved to form a diversified teaching environment inspiring students' initiative. From the current innovations of opening experimental teaching at home and abroad, it is clear that some key institutes have explored the opening experimental teaching vigorously and boldly . However, the experimental teaching of college physics in non-key institutes still remains the traditional teaching pattern without a suit of new-style opening teaching system. By assimilating and using the successful experience and theory of other institutes in opening experimental teaching of college physics for reference, it has vital practical significance about setting up a teaching model of experimental teaching of engineering college physics.The thesis explores the model of opening experimental teaching of engineering college physics. Firstly, theoretical foundations of experimental teaching of engineering college physics experiment are introduced. Secondly, combining with her own teaching practice, the author puts forward the idea of constructing the system of opening experimental teaching, dividing the traditional experimental content of engineering college physics into three levels including foundational experience, synthetic experiment and designing experiment. The focus is the project and practice of designing experiment based on the theory of metacognition. Thirdly, the author discusses the teaching methods that suit three levels of experimental teaching, introducing how to improve the teaching means via computer network technology based on the illustration of "network-based design of assisting learning system". Fourthly, the design of management system of opening experimental teaching of engineering college physics is presented, particularly the introduction for the evaluation system of students' experiments constructed with the direction of theory of multiple intelligences. Finally, the practice of opening experimental teaching of engineering college physics is summarized briefly, and the thinking about the safeguard system of implementing the opening experimental teaching is provided. Through the research, the author hopes to provide a creative model of opening experimental teaching of engineering college physics.
