Investigation On Medicinal Plant Resources From Horqin Youyiqian County Inner Mongolia

Objective:To investigate the distribution,habitat,species,protection and development status of wild medicinal plants in the region based on the investigation and collection of specimens of medicinal plant resources in Horqin Youqian county.Provide scientific basis for the protection and development of plant resources.Methods:According to the relevant provisions of the "National Technical Survey of Traditional Chinese Medicine Resources",the information on the types,distribution,reserves,resource change trends,wild conditions,etc.of Mongolian and Chinese medicine resources in 47 sample plots in the whole county was grasped through the 3S system.The number of family and genus species distributed throughout the banner,plant density,dominant family and genus species and rare protected plants were analyzed by statistical processing data.Specific investigation method:systematic sampling method is adopted to set up plots,and 5 plots of each plot are surveyed.Each sample set has 6 small samples,including a sample of 10m × 10m mainly used for investigation of trees,a sample of 5m×5m mainly used for investigation of shrubs,and four samples of 2m × 2m mainly used for investigation.of herbal quadrat.Results:There are 55 families,249 genera and 437 wild medicinal plants in the area.Among them,there are 4 families,4 genera and 7 species of ferns,accounting for 23.53%,16.67%and 11.29%of the families,genera and species of ferns in Inner Mongolia,respectively.There are 1 family,2 genera and 3 species of gymnosperms,accounting for 33.33%,28.57%and 13.04%of the families,genera and species of gymnosperms in Inner Mongolia,respectively.There are 50 families,243 genera,and 427 species of angiosperms,accounting for 43.86%,37.62%,and 19.54%of the angiosperm family,genus,and species in Inner Mongolia,respectively.Among the 55 families of medicinal plants,Asteraceae is the most,with 39 genera and 74 species.Rosaceae(20/40),Leguminosae(17/33),Ranunculaceae(13/27),and Labiatae(16/22),the number of species belonging to these five families is 196,accounting for the total plant species 44.85%of the number.Among the 249 genera,there are 2 large genera with more than 10 species,namely Artemisia and Potentilla,with 22 species in total,accounting for 0.8%and 5.03%of the total genera and total species,respectively.There are 10 middle genera of 5-9 species,accounting for 4.02%and 13.96%of the total genera and total species respectively,and 82 small genera of 2-4 species,accounting for the total genera and total species respectively 32.93%and 45.54%,there are 155 single genera and single species,accounting for 62.25%and 35.47%of the total genera and species respectively.Among the 437 medicinal plants surveyed,Polygonum divaricatum L.is the most widely distributed,with a maximum density of 9.14 plants per square.There are 29 species of meadows,29 species of grasslands,39 species of shrubs,and 51 species of broad-leaved forest.The medicinal plants of this county use whole grasses as the main medicinal parts.Among the rare medicinal plants in Horqin Youyiqian county,the first batch of national key protected plants include 1 wild soybean(Glycine soja Sieb.Et Zucc.),And the second batch of national key protected plants include Cypripedium guttatum Sw.,Cypripedium macranthum Sw.,Paris verticillata M.-Bieb.,Spiranthes sinensis(Pers.),Gymnadenia conopsea(L.)R.Br.Nine species,such as Herminium monorchis(L.)R.Br.,Rose(Rosa rugosa Thunb.),Astragalus(Astragalus membranaceus(Fisch.)Bunge),Glycyrrhiza(Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.),Etc.There are 18 families,32 genera and 39 species of key protected plants at the autonomous region level.Conclusion:Wild medicinal plant resources of Horqin Youyiqian county are very rich.There are 55 families,249 genera and 437 Mongolian and Chinese medicine resources in the whole county.All 437 species have been identified and the species and Latin names are clarified.The data from this survey provides reference materials for further development,utilization and protection of traditional Chinese and Mongolian medicine resources.
