Study On The Moderate Scale Of Apple Planting Based On Farmer's Perspective

Baishui County is a famous apple production base,has the honorary title of "Hometown of Apple in China".In 2018,the apple planting area of Baishui County was 550,000 mu,accounting for 40.7% of the apple planting area of Weinan City,and the hanging fruit area was 397,000 mu.The total output of apples is 479,000 tons,accounting for 28.9 percent of the total output of Apples in Weinan city,with the superior fruit rate reaching 85 percent.As the first leading agricultural industry in Baishui County,the output value of Apples in Baishui county reached 3.89 billion yuan in 2018,an increase of 4.6% over the previous year,accounting for 70.63% of the total agricultural output value of Baishui County.Farmers earn 70% of their income from apple,which is a pillar industry in Shaanxi province and has been playing a leading role in the apple industry.After more than 20 years of development,whitewater Apple industry has faced many problems and severe challenges.Based on the small apple growers as the research object,through the research baishui county eight villages and towns of 230 growers found that fruit worth apple planting area of 7.58 mu,with an average age of 56.68 years,farmers calls himself "the last fruit",young people are not willing to engaged in fruit industry,the elderly physical strength,energy shortage become indisputable fact that,as the production cost,increasing the cost of living,small farmers grow existing business income,unable to maintain life for some farmers mismanagement led to the loss directly,farmers had to go out to work to make up for.The current operation level of farmers cannot meet the needs of production and life,and the planting scale and mode of farmers cannot meet the needs of the sustainable development of modern fruit industry,so the planting scale of apples urgently needs to be changed.This study is based on apple cultivation moderate scale management research with Baishui county in Shaanxi province as the research area.The study used literature analysis,field research and empirical analysis methods and measured the appropriate scale of apple operation area in Baishui county.Also,the study analyzed the driving factors for the realization of moderate scale operation of apples.It cannot only enrich the scale management theory,but also promote the Baishui county apple industry's sustainable development.The main results are as follows:(1)Baishui County apple industry has obvious advantages,a good foundation for development.Large-scale farmers are still the main force of apple planting in Baishui County for a long time.Moderate planting scale in various forms dominated by farmers is an effective way to accelerate the transformation of fruit industry development,which conforms to the objective law of economic development of apple industry in Baishui County.(2)The planting area of apples in the current household is 7.58 mu,which does not reach the range of moderate scale,and the current scale cannot reach the expected income.This paper USES the income maximization model to calculate that the moderate scale of apple planting per family in Baishui County is 11.26-14.48 mu.The encouragement of farmland circulation and the moderate expansion of planting scale have a positive impact on the increase of apple scale efficiency and farmers' income.(3)Farmers in the multivariate linear regression analysis of fixed number of year of age,fruit,apples have brand,land contracting difficulty and whether there is a financing activity is to achieve optimum scale has remarkable effect on the business scope to cultivate new fruit,moderate scale cultivation development is the important direction of the development of fruit and apple brand effect can help the price protection,safeguard farmers reap;In order to ensure the optimum economic benefit of apples,the key point is the size of apple planting area,and improving the land transfer system is the necessary condition for developing moderate scale operation.Farmers can obtain more funds through financing,which can optimize the allocation of agricultural products in the production input and thus approach to scale operation,so as to achieve the optimal benefit and have an important impact on increasing the income of fruit farmers.Based on the above research results,the following Suggestions are put forward: to improve the land circulation system of farmers' moderate scale planting and develop moderate scale operation;Cultivate new professional fruit farmers and establish professional social service team;Expand the service content,strengthen the service strength,and build a small loan platform for fruit farmers;Standardizing the market environment of agricultural resources and adhering to the principle of maximizing benefits and green development;Strengthen brand building,broaden Apple sales platform.
