Logistics industry is considered as the accelerator of economic development. Developing it will promote the transformation of the economic growth mode, accelerate the readjustment of the industrial structure, and impel coordinated development of regional economy. With the economic development rapidly, the connection between logistics industry and the economic of Liaoning province becomes close. And there are more and more papers studying on the logistics. But most of them do qualitative analysis. For the full potential of the logistics industry association effect, paper needs to be explored in depth with the mechanism and regional economic interaction, do analysis of the existing problems in the development process, and offer some possible solutions to the problems. On the basis of 2002 input-output tables of Liaoning, the paper will merge 122 departments into four industries, define the scope which the logistics industry covers, choose input-output analysis as the major research methods, and show the logistics industry association effect and industry spill-over effects. In the model of C-D paper introduces logistics variables, combining statistical data to quantify the development of the logistics industry's role in promoting economic growth in Liaoning. Comparing with Shanghai, the paper shows the gap of the Liaoning's logistics industry deeperly and gives a more accurate formulation of the development on logistics. The conclusions: logistics industry is the main industry, but also basic industry and bottleneck industry. Therefore it is imperative to formulate industrial policies.
