Based on the field investigation, specimen identification and refering to reveant data,a preliminary research on the resources of lycophytes and ferns in Doupengshan Natural Reserve was carried out.The indicated that:(1)In Doupengshan Nature Reserve, there are 173 species of lycopodites and ferns belonging to 64 genera and 22 families(including subspecies),accounting for 15 species of lycopodium,2 families,5 genera and 158 species of ferns,20 families,59 genera. The dominant families are Pteridaceae,Aspleniaceae,Dennstaedtiaceae,Athyriaceae,Thelypteridaceae,Dryopteridaceae,Polypodiaceae,it inciudes 128 species in the 7 families, accounting for 81.01% of the total species. The dominant genera are Selaginella,Dryopteris,Asplenium,Polystichum,Arachniodes,Lepisorus,Pteris.(2)The floristic geographical elements of the reserve are complex and diverse, the pan-tropical distribution is dominant, with 10 families, accounting for 71.43% of the total families. The floristic characteristics of the genus are mainly pantropical, with a total of 19 genera, accounting for 39.58% of the total genera, indicates that the lycophytes and ferns have obviously tropical relationship and no endemic genera.East Asian is main the geographical composition in species level, and the dominant population are distribution subtypes of China-Japan,with 52 species, accounting for 30.95% of the total species, indicates that the flora of lycophyte and fern species in this area are more closely related to Japan. There are 22 species of unique distributions of China, indicating a certain regional particularity.Comparing with the similarity coefficient of lycophytes and ferns in other 6 areas,we concluded that they are most closely related to fanjing mountain at the level of genera and species,,but estranged from cangshan mountain in yunnan province.(3)The ecological types of lycophytes and ferns in this area can be divided into five categories: terrestrial, lithophytic, epiphytic, vine and aquatic. The terrestrial type contains101 species, accounting for 58.38% of the total species. The main application values oflycophytes and ferns in this area are edible, medicinal, ornamental, etc. There are 143 species of medicinal lycophytes and ferns, accounting for 82.66% of the total species. The main part of medicinal herbs are whole herbs, and the mainly medicinal functions are heat-clearing and detoxification. There are 22 species of edible lycophytes and ferns, and the edible parts are mostly boxed leaves or rhizomes. There are 130 species of lycophytes and ferns with highly ornamental value in this area.It can be applied in landscaping, potted ornament, potted hills and rocks configuration, mix of fresh flowers and leaves and so on.(4)The morphological anatomy of the vegetative organs of the Woodwardia unigemmata was studied by the method of segregation and paraffin sectioning. The leaves were heterologous leaves, the upper and lower epidermis cells were irregular, and only the lower epidermis had stomatal distribution. There are 2 to 6 vascular bundles in petiole, only 2 larger vascular bundles from petiole base up to leaf axis.Rhizome have multiple vascular bundles scattered among the parenchyma cells, and rich starch grains in parenchyma cells.Cortex takes up a large proportion in the transverse structure of roots, and xylem develops in an exogenous manner. The development process of Woodwardia unigemmata bulbil can be divided into three stages: the formation stage of bulbil primordium, the differentiation stage and the maturation stage of bulbil primordium.
