Coupling Development Of Strategic Emerging Industries And Traditional Induwtries And Their Impact On Employment

In 2009,the CPC central committee and the state council made the deployment of cultivating and developing strategic emerging industries to promote the upgrading and transformation of China's industrial structure.Properly handling the relationship between traditional industries and strategic emerging industries is the key to cultivating and developing strategic emerging industries.Properly handling the coordinated development of the two industries is more conducive to economic development.Under the background of changes in China's labor force structure,the development of the two industries will have an impact on the labor market,and how to promote employment has become a hot issue in current research.Through a systematic literature review,this paper defines made of two kinds of industry reasonable,coupling and coupling coordination degree in two types of industry as the breakthrough point of the empirical research,constructs the comprehensive evaluation system of two kinds of industries and select the appropriate indicators,with two types of industry in 2011-2017 data of 49 industry as sample,using principal component analysis for the coordinated development of strategic emerging industries and traditional industries in our country present situation has carried on the empirical research.When studying the influence of the development of two kinds of industries on employment,the paper first analyzes the influence mechanism of the development of two kinds of industries on employment.Then,an employment effect model is constructed,taking the data of 49 industries in the two industries from 2011 to 2017 as samples,and using the method of general panel data regression to conduct an empirical analysis on the employment effect.Based on the research of the mechanism of theory and empirical test,the following conclusions:(1)In recent years,the development of strategic emerging industries and traditional industries of the benign interaction between although in individual years decline,but on the whole there is a rising trend,at present the national overall in the moderate coordination phase,two types of industry in the stage of moderate coordination to highly coordinated across the stage.(2)In traditional industries,the number of enterprises above the scale has a positive effect on the employment of labor force,and the effect is the largest.The internal expenditure of R&D expenditure of traditional industry also has a positive effect on labor employment.However,the employment effect of the average wage of urban employees is negative.(3)The employment effect of product sales revenue of strategic emerging industries is positive,while the employment effect of wages is negative.Therefore,policies should be made to alleviate the labor cost of enterprises,strengthen the ability of scientific and technological research and pay attention to labor training,so as to promote the coordinated development of the two industries and stable employment.
