In 21st century,Climate Change has become one of the central issues in international relations.Since the signing of the UNFCCC in 1992,climate aid has become an important part of international climate change negotiations and global climate change governance.Climate aid has become an important part of international climate change negotiations.Improving the ability of developing countries to cope with the problems caused by climate change has become the international community consensus. As a new field of foreign aid, climate aid is not only in developed countries.China started its own climate aid in the early 21 st century. In 2009,China's assistance in the climate field showed a very rapid growth, becoming an active role in international climate change negotiations. As another important country in the field of international climate negotiations, the United States is an important participant in the evolution of the international climate aid pattern. As the largest developing country and developed country,Chinese and the United States have different positions in international climate change negotiations, but both of them have carried out climate aid activities, which have comparative research significance. The first chapter of this paper defines the concepts of foreign aid, climate aid, climate politics, etc. The second and third chapter focus on the climate aid strategy under the climate policy of the two countries.Through comparative analysis, this paper analyzes the history of climate aid development, the concept, the aid path and purpose of climate aid strategy from a strategic perspective. The fourth chapter gives four reasons for the differences in climate aid between China and the United States,so as to understand Sino-US climate aid better. This paper believes that in the concept of aid,the United States' climate aid is under the guidance of realism,China's climate aid is deeply influenced by the traditional idealism and the constructivism of the new century. When choosing the path of climate aid,the United States achieves climate aid through multiple agencies more, with the way of “giving”;While China's climate aid agency is relatively unitary, under the framework of “South-South Cooperation”.Under the current international climate aid pattern,China and the United States showed great impact. The conflict between developing countries' “aid awakening” and “aid dilemma” of developed countries provides us with a new possibility of establishing a new international climate aid pattern.
