In the construction safety research area, the research on the unsafe behavior of workers and its mechanism is the focus of researchers. In recent years, the research in the construction safety is also gradually combined with the research in psychology. It explains the mechanism of unsafe behavior of construction workers from the perspective of psychology and cognition. However, the safety behavior intentions of construction workers sway back and forth between safety management measures and inherent unsafe behaviors. In addition, unsafe behaviors of construction projects often appear massive, propagating and repetitive. The reason is that, firsitly, the habitual unsafe behavior accumulated by construction workers for a long time is difficult to correct;secondly, construction workers are vulnerable to the influence of surrounding construction workers;thirdly, construction workers are affected by social and work pressure;finally, these negative factors are in conflict with the safety cognition and safety awareness. The existing research ignores above contradiction existing in the minds of construction workers, and only regards the safety attitude of construction workers as onedimensional variables which results in insufficient explanation of the mechanism of unsafe behavior. This study takes the ambivalent safety attitude as the breakthrough point, and integrates management science and behavioral science. It provides significant guidance for how to construct a team with excellent safety atmosphere, safe behavioral norms and high safety performance in engineering project.Based on the theories and methods of interdisciplinary subjects such as psychology and behavioral science, this study construct a system dynamics model of the influencing factors of construction workers' ambivalent safety attitude, and studied the evolution process and internal mechanism of construction workers' behavior under the influence of ambivalent safety attitudes.Firstly,on the basis of defining the ambivalent safety attitude in the construction process, the five influencing factors and mutual relations of ambivalent safety attitude were identified including organizational safety support, other workers' safety attitude, emotional arousal, and safe production experience and work pressure;secondly, based on the group wisdom model construction method, the system dynamics model of construction workers' ambivalent safety attitude was conduct, including qualitative causal loop diagram and quantitative stock flow diagram;thirdly, the model initial data was obtained by questionnaire survey and on-site interview, and the model coefficient parameters were obtained by G1 method to construct the simulation model;fourthly, through the simulation model, the trend of ambivalent safety attitude was obtained and the system simulation comparison analysis was conduct. The results of the analysis indicated that the organizational safety support, other workers' safety attitude, emotional arousal, safety production experience and work pressure had a effect on ambivalent safety attitude. And safety production experience and work pressure had a significant effect on the ambivalent safety attitude of construction workers;finally, according to the simulation results, the construction safety management inspiration was obtained, which provided new ideas and concepts for future construction safety management.
