Research On The Evaluation And Optimization Of The Layout Of Institutional Pension Facilities In Dalian City Based On GIS Technology

With the progress of society and the astounding development of our national economy,the quality of people's daily life has improved during the past few years,as well as definite improvements of medical,transportation,education and other service industries.Crediting with all of these big changes,the average life span of man has increased.But at the same time,due to accelerated growth of elderly population and decreasing birth rate,aging problem is getting worse.Compared with France,Sweden,the United Kingdom,and Germany,China's greying population problem came up a little later.However,the issue of old-age care has aroused the people's attention and discussion long ago.Because of China's special national conditions: high growth rate of the elderly and huge population base,the State Council advocates a kind of social pension model based on “home-based care,community support,and institutional pension”.Dalian is a well-known livable city at home and abroad,with superior natural ecological environment and relatively perfect urban facilities,which has a strong attraction for the elderly to choose Dalian for their later life.However,the unreasonable scale of institutional pension facilities will affect the development of Dalian old-age market.By getting some background knowledge of the development of aging society,as well as the issues on development and layout of institutional pension facilities in Dalian,author combined with her own professional characteristics to write down this paper with the following researches.The first one is to study the rationality evaluation and improvement direction of the layout of urban institutional old-age facilities;the second one is to propose the layout optimization scheme of the urban institutional endowment facilities;and the third one is,based on GIS technology,to find out a basic application mode for layout optimization of the old-age facilities.The above research processes are based on the Central place theory--Marketing principle,and the service facilities layout theory.Under the corresponding conditions,writer used the network analysis technology in ArcGIS as well as buffer analysis,Voronoi polygon and overlap analysis in MapInfo to evaluate and optimize the layout of institutional pension facilities in Dalian city.The innovation of this thesis is to use Bazhuayu reptile software to obtain data which has coordinates with itself,this achieves data analysis from the qualitative to the quantitative.Using the network analysis tool of ArcGIS software,writer selects "minimize the number of facilities" model and "maximize coverage" model to carry out layout optimization twice,then gets the final facility layout optimization scheme combined with the two optimization results.The layout optimization of other public facilities in Dalian can learn draw lessons from the optimization method of institutional pension facilities layout in this paper.The results of this study are of theoretical significance for the planning and construction of urban pension facilities in Dalian,which promote the rational allocation of urban resources,and have important reference value and practical significance for a further improvement to a higher level of old-age support in Dalian.
