Study On The Development Of County Economy Based On Geographical Conditions Data

With deepening of reform and opening-up, the development of county economy and quality enhancement has become one of the hottest issues concerned by local governments and scholars. The level of the development of county economy reflects the economy growth of provinces and countries to some extent. However, there are few systematic studies on county-level economic development from a spatial perspective existed, and most areas in China still adopt the way based on periodical reports and numerical statements to manage country economy. With the technology progress in geographical condition monitoring, geographical factors related to the county economy are able to be fully acquired; the results can be utilized to serve governments at all levels, which, as a scientific reference, are possible to be applied to the development program planning and management as well.This paper analyzes the spatial patterns of county economic development from land-using, traffic networks, population, and industry and regional economic correlation. In the module of value estimating of land use, utilizing geographical conditions data to build a comprehensive system index model of land use, the situation of land use valuation is then analyzed comprehensively. In the demographic and economic analysis module, with population and GDP data combined, the geographic concentration and disparity index of population and economic are calculated for each town. In the county transportation dominance and economic development module, an improved transportation dominance evaluation model is constructed through the density of transportation network, the distribution and influence of mainline traffic, and the proximity of important areas. The spatial distribution and differentiation module of industrial development studies the development level and spatial distribution characteristics of counties' agriculture, industry, and service industry Finally, integrating the research of county economy above, based on ArcEngine development components and spatial database technology,C#language is adopted in this paper to build a county economic development information acquisition and management platform,which is powered by national conditions data.Taking Pucheng county as an example,this paper analyzes the economic development of Pucheng county and develops the county's economic management System based on the data of geographical condition monitoring and statistical yearbooks of county-scale.The results suggest that the comprehensive value of land use in Pucheng is lower than the average level in Shaanxi Province,and the recovery of ecological environment is weak because of high-polluting industries,such as chemurgy and coal chemical industry.The spatial distribution of population and economy in Pucheng County is basically the same,however there is a certain degree of deviation;the overall situation is that the distribution is high in the southwest and low in the northeast.The dominance of county-level transportation elements in Pucheng County strong coordinates with the level of its economic development;the basic status of the agricultural economy is still stable,with the overall distribution patterns of "high in the central area and low in the periphery" and "high in the west and low in the east";the level of industrial development keeps raising while the service industry grows at a relatively slow pace.Therefore,issues of pollution and coordinated development of different industries should be concerned in the future.
