Taxonomic Study Of Alebroides Group(Hemiptera:Cicadellidae:Typhlocybinae:Empoascini) From China

The present thesis mainly deals with the taxonomy of the Alebroides group in the tribe Empoascini(Hemiptera,Cicadellidae,Typhlocybinae)from China.The research history and present situation of the group both in China and abroad are introduced,its morphology,material and methods,economic importance,geographical distribution of generic and specific taxa from China are presented.In the taxonomic section,67 species of 16 genera in this group are recongized,of which 5 genera and 13 species are new to science,1 species is transferred from Alebroides to Nikkotettix as a new combination.Keys to all taxa are also given.Habitus photos of 49 species are presented.The morphological configurations of male genitalia of new species are illustrated.References and indexes of scientific names and Chinese names are provided.New taxa,as well as new combination are listed as follow:New genera:Paraunitra gen.nov.,Longisima gen.nov.,Esuturata gen.nov.,Blokedus gen.nov.,Digitatus gen.nov..New species:Alebroides apeallatus sp.nov.,Alebroides hutileus sp.nov.,Alebroides megalophus sp.nov.,Alebroides serperatus sp.nov.,Alebroides landatus sp.nov.,Alebroides fluctueus sp.nov.,Nikkotettix ccapilla sp.nov.,Pcaraunitra curta sp.nov.,Paraunitra.furcata sp.nov.,Longisima molidata sp.nov.,Esuturata lirifera sp.nov.,Blokedus mospiferus sp.nov.,Digitatus pachycladus sp.nov..New combination:Nikkotettix chiasmaticus(Yu&Yang,2014),n.comb..The type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Entomological Museum,Northwest A&F University,Yangling,Shaanxi,China(NWAFU).
