Taxonomy And Phylogeny Of The Alebroides Group From China (Hemiptera:Cicadellidae:Typhlocybinae)

The thesis deals with the taxonomy of the Alebroides group in Chinese fauna and phylogeny of this group.The history and present situation of this group both in China and abroad,materials and method,economic importance and geographic distribution are introduced.In the taxonomy part,16 genera and 76 species of this group in Chinese fauna are recorded,in which 2 genera and 9 species new to science are described,9 species are recorded in China for the first time;key to genera of Chinese Alebroides group and keys to species in each genus are provided.Habitus photos of 18 species are given;male genitalic characters of 14 species of this group are illustrated.New genera: Ternillus gen.nov.,Dentatus gen.nov.New species: Alebroides rellowious sp.nov.,Alebroides diashus sp.nov.,Alebroides tuberous sp.nov.,Alebroides mageraous sp.nov.,Alebroides tesdigarus sp.nov.,Alebroides tinshious sp.nov.,Dentatus oraninous sp.nov.,Nikkotettix nullistigma sp.nov.,Ternillus longitudious sp.nov.New record: Alebroides adonis Dworakowska,1981;Alebroides curvatus Dworakowska,1981;Alebroides flavoniger Linnavuori,1960;Alebroides flexus Dworakowska,1997;Alebroides gallus Dworakowska,1994;Alebroides hachijonis Matsumura,1931;Alebroides quartus Dworakowska,1997;Alebroides wesleyi Dworakowska,1994;Alebroides xiphenax Dworakowska,1997.In the phylogeny part,43 species in 16 genera of Alebroides group are treated,1 species in 1 genus of Dikraneurini was selected as outgroup.Software contains Paup and Treeview were used.The results are as follow:1.The Alebroides group is monophyletic excluding the genus Flaviata;2.The genera Circinans and Ternillus from a clade and have closer relationship;3.The genera Ghauriana and Luodianasca from a clade and have closer relationship;4.The genera Lumicella,Alebrasca and Keumiata from a clade,Alebrasca and Keumiata have more closer relationship;5.The genus Membranacea is monophyletic and form a clade to be sister group with Schizandrasca,Rubiparvus and Membranacea;6.The genera Alafrasca and Dentatus have closer relationship;7.Four species in the genus Nikkotettix and Alebroides gallus from a clade,and Nikkotettix galloisi and Nikkotettix taibaiensis have more closer relationship;The type of specimens of the new genera and new species are deposited in the Northwest A&F University(NWAFU),Yangling,Shaanxi,China.
