Following the development of urbanization and industrial economic,there are more and more pressure to be faced in quantity,quality and production capacity protection of the cultivated land in China.At the same time,the differentiation in natural or social economic condition also led to the particularity and difference of regional cultivated land utilization.In this context,how to coordinate the relationship between the regional economic development and cultivated land utilization,and how to optimize the cultivated land use pattern,have become urgent problems to be solved.Therefore,based on the analysis of the space differentiation of the key elements which involved in utilization of cultivated land,the optimization strategy by partition utilization can be used to raise the production capacity,and promote the sustainable utilization of cultivated land.In this article,Wuxue city,which is located in Hubei province,is taken as the research area.Firstly,by utilize the location entropy model and the landscape indexes,the differences of the cultivated land,such as the quantity,location characteristics and landscape pattern,are revealed.Secondly,based on the nature and social conditions of cultivated land,the quality differentiation of cultivated land was evaluated and analyzed by using the model of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.Again,based on the results of cultivated land productivity calculation,the spatial distribution of cultivated land productivity predominance is analyzed from the potential yield and the production advantages of cultivated land.Then,the spatial distribution of ecological risk in the cultivated land using is evaluated,including its stability,impact degree and disturbance degree.Finally,on the basis of the analysis and evaluation above,the spatial clustering model and the three-dimensional rubik's cube partition model are used to set up two partitions of cultivated land utilization,and then,based on the regional actual and the traits of cultivated land utilization,some differential measures of the utilization in each partition are put forward.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Influenced by both natural and social economic factors,there are obvious differences in the spatial distribution and the quantity of cultivated land between the north and south of Wuxue city.In the north-central area,the cultivated land has a larger quantity and a higher agglomeration degree,but its plaque area and the regularity are small,which are affected by the terrain and the ownership factors.Because of administrative area is lesser,the southeastern towns of the region,have a small number of arable land,and its plaque area is big and its shapes were simple or regularity.(2)The quality of cultivated land in the region is roughly decreasing from the south to the north.Under the control of region topography,which is showing by plains in southern-central hills-low mountains in northern,the natural and the cultivation condition of the cultivated land become worse gradually,and then the alternation pattern from north to south of the cultivated land quality is formed.(3)Affected by the utilization level and the theoretical production capacity of arable land,the central and northeast areas of Wuxue have greater potential of grain yield in the future,but the productivity advantage of the cultivated land in the southeastern is obvious.Overall,the southeastern plain has a better comprehensive advantage than other areas.In the future,therefore,when we pay attention to enhance the level of cultivated land use in the central region,the consolidation and optimization measures about to food production also should be taken in the southeastern.(4)The central region,the low hilly area of northern,and the southwest area along the Yangtze are the high ecological risk zone in the cultivated land using,but there are differences reasons for this phenomenon.The ecological risk,in central region is derived from the urban expansion and communication lines,but in the northern hilly area,it is affected by terrain.In the south region along the Yangtze,the ecological risk mainly comes from the adverse impact of waters in cultivated land using.(5)Based on the conversion of space scale and comprehensive consideration of some important elements,such as the quantity and distribution characteristics of the cultivated land,social and economic development,terrain factors,and administrative boundaries,the study area is divided into 4 utilization characteristic zones of cultivated land.Then,depending on the combination type of the quality,the capacity and the ecological risk of cultivated land,the characteristic zones are decomposed into 13 utilization type zones.Finally,the regional characteristics and the main utilization directions and countermeasures in each zones are analyzed and put forward.This research can provide support for improving the comprehensive production capacity and the differential using of cultivated lands,at the same time,it is also pointed out the direction of the use patterns which integrating the quantity,quality,capacity and ecological status of the cultivated land.
