With the rapid development of social economy and the fierce competition among hotels,the hotel has brought unprecedented challenges to the development of the hotel.In hotel management,human resources are the basis of hotel strategic management,and performance management is an important part of human resource management.The purpose of performance management is to enhance the operation efficiency of the organization,improve the employee’s vocational skills,promote the healthy development of the organization,stimulate the enthusiasm of the staff,ensure the efficient operation of the work,and finally make the organization and employees benefit from each other.In this paper,Ningbo Pan Pacific Hotel,based on the method of consultation,questionnaires and interviews,is analyzed for every kind of problems existing in the performance management of the hotel,using the key performance index appraisal method and the Balanced Scorecard evaluation method together.For Ningbo Pan-Pacific hotel performance management system to be optimized and better achieving the strategic goal of Ningbo Pan Pacific hotel,the hotel’s performance planning,performance management and training,performance of communication system are all strenghtened to make up for the shortcomings of previous performance management system,and make the hotel’s performance management system improved from static one to dynamic.In this paper,we will use BSC+KPI to complement each other and build a new performance appraisal method.We will apply this new assessment method to the hotel performance management system,and achieve the desired goal.The results of this study not only enriches the KPI and balanced scorecard assessment method combined use in the domestic hotel industry in practice,but also provides inspiration and reference for other hotels to improve performance management level and ability using KPI and balanced scorecard to reform or improve their performance management. |
