| For hotel, performance management is an important way to enhance core competitiveness and increase returns. Yet in practice, the main problems of hotel performance management are as follows:the performance evaluation index system and the performance management process design is not reasonable.The lack of effective and scientific performance managemnt for hotel staff could lead to a range of negative impacts, such as the lack of motivation on duty, or worse, staff loss, especially the core staff loss, or the worst, the reduction of core competitiveness and returns of hotel. The optimization of performance appraisal index system and performance management process is the focus point for management departments at all levels and all staff, which as well as the important project need to be solved for hotel.T hotel, as one of the few pre-five-star hotels in N city, was selected as the research object in this paper. Meanwhile though using case study, literature reading and other research methods, this paper investigated the current situation of T hotel, which including the status of development, staff composition, performance management pattern, the index system of performance management, and the operation of performance management. The significance of this study lies in the optimization process of hotelperformance evaluation index system and performance management, to improve the effectiveness of the performance management of T Hotel. The innovation of this paper lies in the combination of BSC and KPI to optimize the performance appraisal index system hotel.The research contains five chapterThe first chapterr includes the research background of hotel performance management, the research purpose, the research direction, the research progress in hotel performance management at home and abroad;The second chapter of this paper mainly related theoretical basis of hotel performance management, mainly is to define the core concept of the hotel performance.performance appraisal, performance management, and performance appraisal method is introduced in this paper.The third chapter of this paper described the history of development, the organization structure and other situations of T hotel, then, the main problems in performance management of T hotel as well as the causes of which were analyzed in this part. The forth part of this paper desined the T Hotel performance appraisal index system from hotel levelã€department level and taff level by "BSC+KPI". The fifth chapter, on the T Hotel performance management may exist in the implementation process problems, respectively, from the cultivation of the implementation of performance management, hotel performance plan,performance appraisal of the implementation of hotel and hotel performance appraisal result using the four part puts forward the optimization countermeasure. |
