This thesis is based on the background of the economic globalization and China's entrance to WTO. The main purpose is to research the core competitive power and the strategies of Qinhuangdao Grand Hotel which is authorized to undertake government-activities. It is studied in quality and in quantity by the method combining the Analytic Hierarchy analysis, Delpi method and fuzzy integration analysis, etc.Firstly, this thesis compares the definitions and viewpoints of core competition and the recognition dimensions between the domestic and foreign scholars. It simply interprets the current circumstance and the orientation about hotels at home and abroad on core competitive power, extracting the hotels'core competence to form the dimensions.Secondly, running in only one groove means standing still and ejection from the game in the acute competitive market nowadays. The importation of the conception of the core competitive power converts the potential factors which effect the development of a hotel to the measured and quantified data. These data is the basis and the guarantee to conduct the stabilization and the development of a hotel.Thirdly, this paper will analyse the macroscopic and microcosmic situation and its interior condition from the point where Qinhuangdao Grand Hotel stands, and then established a evaluation system concerning the core competitive power which is suitable for Qinhuangdao Grand Hotel through the method of Analytic Hierarchy Analysis, Derfy mothed and Evalution method.Last but not least, this paper which finds the problems on Qinhuangdao Grand Hotel's core competitive power will bring up some strategies to enhance its core competitive power according to the conduction of quantified data and take them as the foundation to improve the present situation.
