With the accelerated development of economic globalization and the rise of German Industry 4.0,and soaring labor costs in China,companies are increasingly aware that simply relying on the original low-cost labor and product innovation is no longer able to get more money to meet business survival.Companies must begin to seek to improve profitability through management innovation,to adapt the brutal competition in the market.As the two magic weapons of production management community for the manufacturing enterprise management and improving the provision of scientific,specific guidance,lean thinking and the theory of constraints are also insufficient.In this thesis,through comparative analysis the theory of constraints and lean thinking to identify the point of integration,and applied to the value stream mapping.In the actual production improvement,if the enterprises fully accordance with lean thinking often lead to no emphases in improvement and improvement effect isn’t obvious.On the contrary,the use of the theory of constraints,can help enterprises identify the waste and bottleneck resources existing in the system.Value stream mapping is an effective tool to improve the production system and avoid the difficulty in the beginning of the improvement.The main contents of this thesis include the comparative analysis of lean thinking and TOC to find out the difference between them and then summed up the combinations of them apply to value stream mapping to build improvement model based constraint value stream mapping.The most fundamental characteristics of this model is based on customer demand oriented to identify bottlenecks and in the implementation of improvements.Secondly,the thesis specific described the concrete steps of the improvement of production systems based on constraint value stream mapping and issues that need attention in implementation process.Further,in order to verify the feasibility of the model improvement and the process of improvement,thesis designed production system evaluation model based on the theory of constraints and lean thinking,to evaluate the improved production systems.Finally,the improved model and evaluation model is applied to specific cases,and collect data before and after the improvement to analysis the effect of improvement.
