In the 21~stt century with the advent of industrial 4.0,the demand for the high quality of the product is more and more intense.How to meet the needs of customers and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises is the problem that enterprises need to solve.Lean six sigma management model came into being,it helps enterprises in the fierce market competition to gain the advantage.This paper aims to discuss the application of lean six sigma to increase the capacity of slitter.Lean Six Sigma is a combination of lean production and Six Sigma Management,and its essence is to eliminate waste.The purpose of the lean Six Sigma Management is to absorb the advantages of the two kinds of production modes,make up for the lack of a single production mode by integrating of Lean Production and Six Sigma Management and achieve better management effect.It is not Lean Production and Six Sigma,but the combination of two complements each other.This paper firstly describes the concrete methods of two kinds of management,and then compares them and practice the current time.Finally,it is my specific case of analysis practice.In the case of the improvement of slitter capacity,a flexible method of Lean Six Sigma is used.I follow DMAIC steps in the case implementation process,use a large numbers of Lean tools and Six Sigma tools,define,measure,analysis and finally find the fundamental measure to solve the problem.It is hoped that the successful implementation of this project has some guiding significance for the application of Lean Six Sigma.
