Research On The Inspection And Examination Of The Supervision On Food Safety In Wenzhou

After the national attention on the tainted milk powder incident in China in 2008,people's concern for food safety has been increasing.In order to strengthen food safety supervision and ensure people's “bite of safety”,in December 2016,the State Council's Food Safety Office,together with the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance,studied and drafted the “Thirteenth Five-Year National Food Safety Plan”.With the implementation of the plan,the food safety supervision has been placed at an important position by the government,among which the food inspection is the most important part.As mentioned in the plan,the support capabilities have been steadily strengthened,the food safety inspection(supervision)capacity building projects has been implemented,and 18.45 billion yuan has been invested in the central infrastructure construction.The food safety science and technology innovation system has been gradually improved and the coverage of food supervision has been continuously expanded.Food safety sampling has covered all food categories and varieties,the inspection capabilities of food safety at all levels have reached national construction standards,and the inspection capabilities of imported and exported foods have remained at the international level.It can be seen that food inspection is a link that the government attaches great importance to in food safety management.This article mainly studies the food safety inspection in Wenzhou.First of all,the research background,its theoretical and practical significance,research status,relevant concepts,research ideas and methods were described.Then the food safety inspection in Wenzhou was investigated on the spot.After having a clear understanding on the food inspection in Wenzhou,several major problems were found: the food inspection agency affiliated to Wenzhou Government are lack of resources and testing professionals;besides,its food safety inspection system are not systemized and is lack of information sharing and post-detection processing;and the third-party inspection agency resources have not been promoted and used.Based on the analysis of the above problems and causes,combined with relevant experience in developed regions such as the United States,Japan,and Europe,the reform plan for food safety inspection in Wenzhou has been designed.Finally,the measures and suggestions for improving food safety inspection in Wenzhou were put forward: Integrate existing government-affiliated food safety inspection agencies,improve the government's food safety supervision and inspection system,and vigorously develop third-party inspection agencies.
