With the development of organizational behaviour science and human resource management,more and more research have shown that simply by improving employee satisfaction can no longer maintain the sustainable development of the organization.Instead,the key to improving the enterprise performance is the employee engagement.According to the research of Gallup,the employee engagement is so closely related to enterprise performance that it can not only effectively promote the productivity and profit of the organization but also reduce turnover rate.As a new business model,chain operation becomes one of the most popular commercial operation models with its own vitality and growth potential.Although growth chain enterprise is developing fast,it is faced with resource shortage at the same time,such as mid-level of standardized management,high turnover rate and lack of employee motivation which hinder the speed of its development.Therefore,this research was conducted with the aim of recognizing the main factors which influence the employee engagement for the growth chain enterprise.Then it can promote the enterprise performance by improving the employee engagement through these factors.The methods applied to this research come from management,psychology to statistics.Firstly,document research and other methods were applied to summarizing the characteristics of growth chain enterprise and defining it;Secondly,information on the state of employee engagement of growth chain enterprises and potential influencing factors were collected by questionnaire investigation;Thirdly,data derived from investigation were analyzed by means of description analysis,factor analysis,difference analysis,correlation analysis and multivariate regression analysis in order to explore rules that can be followed.Through the above-mentioned researches,the main conclusions were reached as follows: Firstly,the employee engagement of growth chain enterprises' employees consists of three dimensions—dimension of devotion to work,dimension of identification with organization and dimension of pursuit of development;Secondly,excluding marital status and types of industry,the level of employee engagement of growth chain enterprises' employees doesn't show significant difference upon demographic variables.Thirdly,factors that have relatively significant impact on growth chain enterprises' employee engagement are listed in descending order of importance as follows: job characteristics,career development opportunity,interpersonal relationship,leadership behavior;What's more,the influencing factors of three dimensions of employee engagement and the degree of influence are also different.Finally,the article put forward some practical suggestions to improve the employee engagement of growth chain enterprises.
