Employment turnover has been usually attached much importance by human resource(HR)in companies.Employees' activities,such as recruitment,entry,training and finally promotion,all are based on a company's investments of manpower and capital.So it is a loss for a company if there are employment turnover and job hopping.Of cause,if the loss is caused by the company's shrinking in scale,that's another matter.This thesis mainly intends to find out the reasons of Starbucks(China)'s employment turnover according to its situation of HR.The study will analyze the existing problems,raise approaches to the problems and carry on the approaches,so as to improve employees' loyalty to Starbucks(China),help them to perfect their career planning,strengthen their enthusiasm and eventually enhance the company's competitiveness in the field.The thesis consists of five parts.Part one: Introduction.This part mainly talks about the background,significance,methods and structure of this thesis,explain some terms and concepts concerning HR management and briefly introduce the HR distribution within the corporation and findings about employment turnover at home and abroad.Part two: An introduction to the situation of Starbucks(China)HR.This part illustrates the background of Starbucks and emphasizes the particularity of HR,including the characteristics of recruitment,training and salary administration.Part three: A research on the employment turnover of Starbucks.According to my work experience in Starbucks,I intend to find out the reasons of high employment turnover rate and analyze the reasons.Part four: Some measures against the employment turnover of Starbucks.Some approaches for improvement will be brought up in this part to reduce the employment turnover rate,enhancing the company's competitivenessPart five: Conclusions of the findings and measures mentioned above.This part also includes the significance and impacts of these findings in practical management.As a manager and researcher involving HR planning,I combine what I have learned with my experience and learn the ubiquitous employment turnover in Starbucks(China).With personal experience,I put forward some approaches in HR to cut down the employment turnover rate of Starbucks(China).
