Chinese economy has developed rapidly after the reform and opening up.As a pillar industry of the national economy,the booming construction industry has a positive effect on the growth of GDP,which accounted for about 5.7 percent of Chinese GDP even in the global economic crisis in 2008.With the rapidly increasing of urbanization rate,more and more funds pour into the real estate industry.But affected by the different levels of the development of the economy in different regions and the pace of urbanization,the differences on the construction industry’s developments in various regions gradually increased.Therefore,the article study the development level of the construction industry,so as to provide theoretical support for the realization of the benign development of the construction industry in the background of urbanization.Firstly,based on the current situation of domestic and foreign construction industry and urbanization,the article analyzes the related concepts and theories of urbanization and construction industry,and make the influencing factors of the development of the construction industry clear.Secondly,the paper combines with the current development of urbanization and the construction industry in Shandong province,through the comprehensive analysis on the development of urbanization in Shandong Province under the background of the construction industry,making a clear influence of urbanization on the development of the construction industry.Thirdly,according to development characteristics and rules of the construction industry in Shandong Province under the background of urbanization and the principle of choosing evaluation index,this paper uses the mathematical method based on information substitution to select the initial indexes,constructs the evaluation index system of Shandong construction industry.Then,the paper uses improved integrated weight method to weight index,combining the principle of maximum membership degree in the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method with the extension theory,and establishes the evaluation model and determines the evaluation grade.Finally,the paper uses the evaluation model to analyzes the overall development and the local nine prefecture level cities’ developments of the construction industry in Shandong Province under the background of urbanization,evaluates of the development of the construction industry in Shandong Province under the background of urbanization and puts forward feasible suggestions.This article master the dynamic changing characteristics of Shandong construction industry development from practice through the study of Shandong construction development under the background of urbanization,which has significance to promote the benign development of Shandong construction.
