Research On Schedule Management In LNG Plant Module Construction Project Of CNPC Offshore Engineering Co.,Ltd

LNG Plant Module Construction project management is very difficult due to it's an EPC project with typical characters such as large scale,high technology,complex process,multiple interfaces,tight schedule,etc.The project schedule management is the core of this kind project management which success or not will directly effect the entire LNG plant operation.The client always pays high attention to and gives strict requirements the schedule management.CNPC Offshore Engineering Co.,Ltd which abbreviation is CPOE current project schedule management system can't meet the CONTRACTOR and Client requirement.So it is urgent to do the research to find the key problems,optimize the management,and develop countermeasures to achieve the project schedule target.This paper used the method of literature research to introduce the related theories of project management and project schedule management.Then analysed and studied CPOE LNG Plant module construction project operation model,schedule planning management system and schedule control management system by using the interview survey method,and summarized the schedule management problems and schedule delay causes.The Optimization Countermeasures were made which focused on optimize the interface management,personel responsiblity,multi-level planning linkage,activity code system,resource loading,critical path activities duration estimation and logical relation redefine,activities step weight model,progress tracking and deviation identification.Finally,as per project actual status and schedule delay causes,proposed some supporting measures to ensure the schedule management.
