Shared Financial Services In S Company

In recent years,with the development of economic globalization,the modernized management of large enterprises and multinational enterprises demand new models of financial services.Shared financial services emerge as the times require.S,the largest integrated IT service provider in China,is a multiregional business,with about 40 branches and subsidiaries.With its rapid development in past several years,its demands for financial services have also been escalating.But the increase of corporate financial officers did not bring a corresponding progress in the enterprise's financial service level.Over the years,complaints have been raised concerning its finance department over service efficiency and quality,financial management and data support.In order to change the situation,in early 2014,the finance department of S began to implement shared financial services through process streamlining,integration and reengineering,along with reconfiguration of its financial officers.As a result,the department is now bettered staffed and more efficient,with some of the financial employees diverted from the basic tasks to providing more managerial support.For the better results of the financial sharing services,this paper based on the summary of the background,implementation and expected results of the financial sharing services.Furthermore,it analyzed the limitations of financial sharing services.Including the target is not clear,the internal conflicts of interest,coordination between departments,working motivations and so on.From the point of view on the side of management,coordination of departmental interests,the author has provide some solutions at the end of this paper.
