EOR(Enhanced Oil Recovery)is an effective technical method to improve the efficiency of exploiting oilfields,which is currently applied in many countries in the world.Meanwhile,various products and services related to this technology are also becoming the main business of some oil service companies or chemical companies.And EOR has become an important part which connects the downstream and upstream of the petroleum-chemical industry chain.With the transformation of Chinese economic growth mode,the outline of improving the oil recovery of mature oilfields has been proposed in the national energy development strategy.This will increase the demand for EOR products and services from traditional oil production enterprises.While,the policy of transferring the low grade oilfields resources on the market will also provide some private enterprises many opportunities to develop their EOR markets.ZGH chemical company is selected as the object of study in this dissertation and all aspects of information and data related to its EOR business have been collected.According to the related theory of strategic management,the analytical model of PEST,Porter's five forces and SWOT are used to research the external environment,internal conditions,strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats in the development of ZGH's EOR business.And then,based on these analyses,the strategic plan and corresponding measures for the development of ZGH's EOR business are designed.Finally,the points and priorities of the strategic management in the development of ZGH's EOR business are summarized in this dissertation,not only to provide reference for the development of ZGH chemical company,but also to provide literature base for the same type of private chemical companies which may diversify into EOR business.
