Sino-Russian Agricultural Cooperation Research

With the rapid economic and social development in China,people’s standard of living has been continuously improved.The demand for "eating" has become increasingly high.However,due to the restriction of arable land for grain,the grain supply has reached its peak.As the demand for grain increases and the shortage of farmland has caused the continuous increase of grain imports in China Which has brought an impact on food security in China and kept China’s food security at a "tight balance" for a long time.Russia has a profound agricultural foundation.As a Chinese neighbor,there was agricultural cooperation in the 1980 s.Due to history and Russia’s reasons,the agricultural cooperation between the two countries has been at a low level for a long time.In this paper,the writer using the professional knowledge of international relations,from the political,economic,social,cultural and other aspects of the two countries to carry out cooperation in the agricultural significance,status,problems,reasons and measures,the implementation of the Belt and Road strategy,provides better opportunities for bilateral cooperation in agriculture,the China-Russia Committee on Periodical Meetings decided to set up a branch of agricultural cooperation to elevate the Sino-Russian agricultural cooperation to a national level strategy.Studying the agricultural cooperation between China and Russia plays a positive role in changing the situation of China’s agricultural cooperation with Western countries and realizing the diversification of China’s agricultural cooperation.
