Research On The Economic And Trade Cooperation Between Jilin Province And Mongolia Or Russia Under The Framework Of "The Belt And Road"

At present,the world economy is in a adjustment period of globalization,facing the Challenge of "De-globalization" and the rising of trade protectionism.China's contribution to global economic growth in 2017 exceeds 30 percent.Under this background,China initiates the program "the Belt and Road" and perseveres in developing open world economy,promoting global trade and investment and rejecting protectionism..Achievements have been widely praised by countries along the route and the international organizations since the launch of the strategy of "the Belt and Road ".Under "the Belt and Road " framework,the National Development and Reform Commission released 《 Outline of economic corridor construction in China,Mongolia and Russia》in 2016 to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between China(especially northeast China),and Mongolia and Russia.A new path to development has been built up.With the implementation and development of " the Belt and Road Initiatives",Jilin Province,an important window for the opening of north China,intends to seize this opportunity to develop economic and trade relations with the countries along “the Belt and Road” relying on location advantage and a good industrial base.The purpose of this paper is to deepen the economic and trade exchanges between Jilin Province and Mongolia and Russia,promote industrial structure adjustment,accelerate industrial transforming and upgrading,under the framework of "the Belt and Road ".Based on the existing research and economic and trade data of Jilin Province,Mongolia and Russia from 2006 to 2017,Guided by the theories of regional economic integration,this study explained the present situation of economic and trade cooperation,analyzed the potential of economic and trade development,discussed the prospect of economic and trade development,pointed out the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of economic and trade development between Jilin Province and Mongolia and Russia.Some countermeasures and suggestions were put forward for integrating Jilin province into the strategy of "the Belt and Road" and "economic corridor between China,Mongolia and Russia".
