Research On The Model And Mechanism Of Cooperation Between Family Farm And Farmer Specialized Cooperative In Deyang

Deyang is located in the northeast of Chengdu plain with its plentiful agricultural resources.In recent years,local new business entity has rebounded vigorously under the government's encouragement.There will be651 family farms and 2941 specialized cooperatives in Deyang until 2017.However,the smooth development of new business entity is not determined by its quantity,and moreover,the malpractices of family farms and cooperatives are becoming increasingly apparent due to farmers' registering blindly by following others,coupled with the factors of unstable public welfare services in agriculture,the insufficient support of operational service organizations,the market irregularity,the weak agricultural socialization services,thus exerting direct influence on the implementation of government policy.Consequently,it is an urgent requirement for the current agriculture in Deyang to transform the development mode of new business entity and seek for an high-efficient agricultural industrialization path.Therefore this thesis puts forward the establishing partnership between the family farms and cooperatives,mainly focusing on their pattern and mechanism and analyzing the dominant factors influenced by cooperation,which will make recommendations for the government who lays down policies that are conducive to cooperation between the two.This thesis obtains plenty of first-hand research materials by visiting Deyang's territorial jurisdiction involving six counties.The main cooperation models currently existing in the partnership between family farms and cooperatives are as follows: “family farm plus cooperatives plus company,family farm plus cooperatives plus supermarket and family farm plus specialized cooperatives plus cooperatives setting up business.Under the thorough analysis of these three modes,this thesis makes a summary of the weak and strong point in each pattern and designs the cooperative mechanism according to its requirement.Meanwhile,more than three hundred questionnaires have been distributed and descriptive statistics have been used to analyze the factors affecting cooperations.With the analysis towards questionnaires,this paper has come to the conclusion: in terms of family farms,farmers are mainly concerned about whether cooperatives can provide productive resources,financial support,whether it can ensure steady marketing channel and its operating scale;in the aspect of specialized cooperatives,it is more concerned with the its accessible transportation,consistent or similar business types,the amount of labor force and the support from government policies.Accordingly,the government is supposed to put more emphasis on these aspects by wise guidance.
