In order to achieve sharing resources, reducing the agricultural production cost and improving the resilience of risk, farmers were banded together to set up farmer professional cooperatives. The issue of “ Farmer Cooperatives Act ” and support from the government both provide a good environment for the development of cooperatives and simulate the rapid rise of cooperatives. However, most of the cooperatives are stuck by management problems, especially in earning distribution. The equitable distribution of surplus or not directly affects the development and growth of cooperatives. Therefore, the research of farmer cooperatives earning distribution factors, revealing the inherent laws of cooperatives earning distribution from theory perspective and providing the extrinsic evidence for improving the level of cooperatives earning distribution in reality have a certain theoretical and practical significance.First, this paper makes a literature review of the related research on cooperative earning distribution.Second, relevant concepts and theories of famer cooperatives have been defined and explained. Combining with the status quo of China’s overall cooperative’s development and earning distribution, the existent problem in farmer cooperatives earning distribution are analyzed. Then, a number of impact factor were selected by the theoretical analysis of affecting factor of cooperatives earning distribution. After extracting the common factors by factor analysis, the binary logistics analysis method was used for empirical analysis of the significance of each factor. And again, the results show that the three common factors—governance structure, property structure, and self-condition have a significant influence on earning distribution. Meanwhile, The number of the members’ congress, farmers in the proportion of council members, the number of financial situation disclosures and holding the board of supervisors in making decision determine the governance structure is perfect or not; Ownership concentration, the council members’ ownership, the public accumulation extraction ratio, and members turnover determine property structure is standard or not; the scale of capital, the cooperative service pattern and culture level of member determine the self-condition of cooperative is excellent or not. Finally, by combining the present situation and the results, we propose a recommendation which including building a sound distribution mechanism, standardizing a system of property rights, improving the organizational structure and improving the quality of cooperative members.
