E-commerce has been developing in China for nearly 20 years.This new business model has achieved rapid success in the Chinese market.The transaction size in 2016 exceeded 20 trillion yuan and the growth rate in the next five years is expected to exceed 20%.The development Prospects are worth the wait.The birth of the third party payment represented by Alipay solves the problem of trust in online payment,greatly promoting the development of e-commerce.The third-party payment market has experienced four stages of development since its emergence,and is currently in the stage of oligopolistic competition with escalating regulation.In the third-party payment market for e-commerce in China,Alipay and TenPay dominate the majority of market share,a phenomenon that has triggered discussions on monopolization in the industry.The discussion on the anti-monopoly of the Internet has now become a real problem to be solved on the Internet in China.There is both support and opposition to the antitrust issues of the Internet.Therefore,it is particularly important to study the structure of the third-party payment market in China's e-commerce.Based on the researches of Chinese and foreign scholars,this paper combines the current situation of the development of the third-party e-commerce market in China.The first part of this article discusses the success of Alipay as a successful third-party payment company in China,comparing and analyzing the different payment mechanisms and market mechanisms between Alipay and PayPal,and concludes the reasons for the failure of PayPal in China and the successful Alipay Reason:Alipay secured payment more in line with China's national conditions.The second part verifies the market structure of the third-party payment in China's e-commerce from the first quarter of 2012 to the second quarter of 2017 by Eviews software by analyzing the existing pattern of the third-party payment market of e-commerce in China.The conclusion drawn is that the market structure paid by the third party of e-commerce in China is the market structure of oligopolistic competitive monopoly,in which competition and monopoly complement each other and promote each other.Finally,the author puts forward some suggestions on the antitrust policy of the third-party payment market in China based on the research results of this article.It is suggested that the antitrust control should not be imposed on a firm based on the market share of Internet firms,whether the monopoly has a negative impact on social welfare.
