Research On The Efficiency Of Technological Innovation In The Biomedical Industry In Yunnan Province

At present,the technology innovation is gradually becoming the key in industry sustainable development and the growth of regional economic.As a knowledgeintensive and technology-intensive industry,the bio-pharmaceutical industry has a tremendous impact on the efficiency of its technological innovation capability.Under the background of implementing innovation-driven development strategy,exploring and analyzing the technological innovation efficiency of biomedical industry in Yunnan Province is significance and has important theoretical value.In this paper,we take the bio-pharmaceutical industry in Yunnan Province as the research object.First of all,we review and summarize the domestic and international study of bio-pharmaceutical industry,technological innovation and the methods of innovation efficiency,and introduces the paper's main contents,research significance,innovation points and deficiencies.Secondly,the paper defines the core concepts involved in this study and expounds the related theory of the efficiency of technological innovation.Thirdly,we based on the existing literature and the overall development of bio-pharmaceutical industry and technological innovation in Yunnan Province,we constructed an evaluation index system for technological innovation efficiency of biopharmaceutical industry in Yunnan Province from the point of technological innovation input and output,which contains 5 input indicators and 2 output indicators.Using inputoriented DEA method and the panel data of biomedical industry in Yunnan Province from 2005 to 2015,we made an empirical analysis on the efficiency of technological innovation in bio-pharmaceutical industry in Yunnan Province and carried out an empirical analysis with other provinces.In the meantime,in order to further study the efficiency of technological innovation in the bio-pharmaceutical industry in Yunnan Province,we also analyzed the input redundancy and output shortages existing in the bio-pharmaceutical industry in Yunnan Province,and concluded that the input and output of technological innovation in Yunnan Province.Although there is still a huge gap between the Yunnan Province and the national average,although the efficiency of technological innovation has basically remained the same as the national average during the study period,the efficiency of technological innovation in the bio-pharmaceutical industry in Yunnan Province has been showing a relatively low level in recent years.There is also a large waste of resources.In the future development,Yunnan Province should rationally allocate its industrial scale.At the same time,Yunnan Province should pay more attention to optimize the investment structure while increasing its investment in technological innovation in the bio-pharmaceutical industry.
