Nowadays there appear more and more joint ventures in the development of China recently,which are more or less faced with cross-culture conflict,Some joint ventures are not able to cope with the problems successfully,which leads to bad business and even failure to develop in domestic markets.For the joint ventures,cross-cultural conflict management is a difficult problem in its development.How to deal with the problem of cross-culture conflict effectively is a challenge to the management of the joint ventures.Therefore,under this background,this paper takes S Company as the research object through literature analysis,questionnaire investigation and case study.S company is a Sino US joint venture automobile enterprise.Although it has been in the leading position in the domestic market,cross-culture conflict management is still inevitable.In order to do this research,the writer designed a questionnaire based on The Six Theories of Value Orientation and the Cultural Dimension Theory.Through investigation,we find the problems mainly behave in decision making,human resources management,management process and other aspects.Then we use case analysis method to list the detailed problems in the above-mentioned aspects.By focusing on the cause of the problem----cultural difference,using cross-culture theory,this paper analyzes issue from different management ideas,management norms to management behaviors.Finally it puts forward some countermeasures from the enterprise system and cultural construction,human resources management and localization,which are of great practicability.
