As an important part of human resource management,performance appraisal provides feedback information for all aspects of the work of enterprises,and has a very important significance and role for the sustainable development of enterprises.This article takes a small and medium-sized private enterprise GS company as the research object.The performance appraisal and key performance indicators assessment method and related theory are used in this paper.Using the method of literature research,investigation method and case study method,the application of performance appraisal in GS company is investigated.The research on information collection is based on GS company staff questionnaire firstly.And a comprehensive understanding of the implementation of enterprise performance appraisal work is gotten by observing and interview.Through investigation and study,it is found that the company does have some problems in performance appraisal,such as: the ambiguities of performance appraisal purpose,the lack of objective basis,assessment the evaluation form,a single application of assessment results,etc.To solve these problems,we analyze the causes of problems using related knowledge and theory.Finally,according to the performance evaluation process,using evaluation method of key performance indicators,improvement suggestions are put forward in several aspects,such as,making assessment plans from the clear goal of enterprise development,strengthening dynamic control and doing well data collection,developing rules scientifically compliance with the appraisal principle and making use of appraisal results to improve enterprise performance.The performance appraisal system of the enterprise is improved.The corresponding security measures are put forward for the implementation of improved appraisal system.It is hoped that it will help enterprises to enhance their efficiency and enhance their competitiveness.
