Leisure agriculture and rural tourism is known as a global growth industry.The development of leisure agriculture and rural tourism is an important safeguard and a direct starting point to break down the dual urban-rural structure and to promote global tourism.It is significantly important for achieving urban and rural integration,promoting economic growth,and promoting the development of related industries.Liuyang has a superior location,convenient transportations,strong economic development momentums,profound historical and cultural heritages,and excellent tourism resources and good development bases,especially in leisure agriculture and rural tourism.In recent years,Liuyang leisure agriculture and rural tourism are developing rapidly.However,there are some problems during the development.In the current situation that leisure agriculture and rural tourism are under competitive development everywhere,it deserves us to think and investigate how to solve these problems to further promote the development of leisure agriculture and rural tourism in Liuyang.This paper deeply analyzed the basic conditions,market environment and existing problems of leisure agriculture and rural tourism development in Liuyang by using the methods of literature analysis and investigation in combination of the swot analysis method.By introducing the idea of project management,we take the development of Liuyang leisure agriculture and rural tourism as a project to manage.According to the real situation and the goal of establishing national level demonstration zones of global tourism in Liuyang,this study has set up the goal and strategy of developing leisure agriculture and rural tourism in Liuyang.By optimizing the resources of Liuyang leisure agriculture and rural tourism and unearthing the development potential of Liuyang in this area and its related industry,the development strategy in this study will build a specialized brand for Liuyang leisure agriculture and rural tourism so as to promote the deep integration of dual urban-rural economy and to advance the further development of social economy of Liuyang.This study has some reference value for Liuyang to establish national level demonstration zones of global tourism and for creating new economic growth source of county economy across the country.
