With the advent of knowledge economic era,the development and utilization of knowledge have attracted more and more attention,and knowledge organization has become a foucs concerned by academia.The rise and development of web2.0 have brought several questions such as the explosion of information and the overload of cognition to people,so it meets huge great challenges to organize knowledge efficiently.Social tagging is considered an effective tool to resolve these problems.Social tagging,as a new organization method of information resources,can classify and orgnization infromation items by tags which represent users' subjective knowledge,and its essence is a reflection of group consciousness or group cognitive.Users exchange information and share knowledge continually through tags,and it is in favour of the emergence of swarm intelligence and the formation of group knowledge.Therefore,social tagging alse has an important application in the aspect of group knowledge organization.This paper aims to research the structrue and property of group knowledge orgnization based on social tagging.Firstly,we elaborate the emerging principle of swarm intelligence and the infromation thoughts and aggregate function of social tagging,and analyze the formation and orgnization mechanism of group knowledge based on social tagging.Secondly,we conduct a case study,and fetch tags dataset of user group on a specific theme,then we conduct a study of self-organization through analyzing the relation between users and tags.Moreover,we build the tags relation matrix by the co-occurrence in each user's dataset,and visual the network of the matrix using the technology of social network analysis to research the structrue of group knowledge orgnization.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The formation of group knowledge comes from knowledge representation,sharing and exchange by tags among individuals,the accumulation of tags makes the emergence of group knowledge.(2)The group knowledge based on social tagging has a feature of self-organization.The formation of orgnization structure of group knowledge is based on users' spontaneous group consciousness,so the orgnization sturcture is impacted by users' subjective cognition,not impacted by external things.(3)The role of a user in the network of group knowledge is influenced by the quantity as well as the quality of tags.(4)The group knowledge in social tagging system is chaotic or unordered,its organization structure appears obvious features of core-periphery,which shows thatgroup knowledge includes core knowledge and edge knowledge.(5)The network of group knowledge is in accord with the small-world network model.The study contents and results of this paper are conducive to reasonable classification,revelation and integration of group knowledge,and better providing a social tagging platform of knowledge creation,distribution and sharing for user groups,realizing effective knowledge utilization.In addition,this study provides a practical method to dig out core knowledge in groups,which has profound theoretical and practical significance to extract the value of group knowledge,and optimize accuracy and effectiveness for intelligent recommendation system and data mining techniques.
