The balanced scorecard performance evaluation system has been deeply favored by scholars since proposed.Judging from the research status,the research focuses and hot spots have shifted from the elaboration of relevant theories to the practical application of adapting to different needs.With the continuous popularization of information and increasingly fierce competition in the industry,the traditional indicators in the balanced scorecard performance evaluation system cannot meet the needs of today's society any more.In the current information and globalized world,the status of intellectual capital in corporate strategy and performance appraisal gradually highlights.The combination of intellectual capital and balanced scorecard will be the future trend of performance evaluation.At the same time,it is the demand of the development of the times.Although the related research on intellectual capital started relatively late,the research trend has been developing rapidly in recent years.As the study of intellectual capital has not formed the unified theoretical system,the theory of combining intellectual capital and performance evaluation system is relatively lacking.In this paper,the intellectual capital and the balanced scorecard performance evaluation system will be combined.As a result,the traditional balanced scorecard performance evaluation system will be enriched both in theory and practice.This article mainly uses the method that combined the theory elaborates with the case analysis.On the one hand,it summarizes the existing theoretical achievements of the performance evaluation,balanced scorecard and intellectual capital both at home and abroad.Then,it studies the performance evaluation system of balanced scorecard,and draws the defects of the traditional balanced scorecard.Next,it improves the performance evaluation system of balanced scorecard by introducing the intellectual capital.On the other hand,according to the current development status of GL Group,the increased intellectual capital index will be applied to GL Group to build a balanced scorecard performance evaluation system which is more in line with the development needs of GL Group.The article can be divided into five parts and the main contents of each part are as follows:The first part is the introduction.It briefly describes the background,significance,literature review at home and abroad,research methods and ideas.The second part summarizes the theory of balanced scorecard performance evaluation system.Itincludes the components of enterprise performance evaluation system,the connotation,characteristics and theoretical basis of balanced scorecard.The third part introduces the intellectual capital to improve the performance evaluation system of balanced scorecard.This chapter points out the deficiencies in the traditional balanced scorecard performance evaluation and expounds the importance of intellectual capital in modern enterprises at first.Then,it proves the feasibility and effectiveness of intellectual capital into the balanced scorecard performance evaluation system theoretically.The fourth part introduces the case application of the improvement system with intellectual capital.This chapter introduces the development status and the disclosure of intellectual capital of GL Group.Through the selection of indicators related to intellectual capital,it builds a relatively perfect system.The fifth part summarizes the advantages of the improved system and the problems that should be noticed.This chapter mainly describes the effects that the improved system can exert in GL Group and the issues which should be emphasized.In summary,the balanced scorecard performance evaluation system with the introduction of intellectual capital can evaluate the performance of GL Group more objectively and provide strong support to GL Group to achieve strategic goals.Furthermore,the improved system with the introduction of intellectual capital enables the balanced scorecard performance evaluation system to better meet the needs of social development.
