Study On Government Functions Of Rural Tourism Development In Mentougou District

The history of rural tourism in developed countries can be traced back to the middle of the 19 th century Europe.Due to the modernization and urbanization process accelerated,and the pursuit of the popularity of personalization,liberalization tendency,on a large scale,rural tourism at an extremely rapid rate developed in some developed countries and regions in the 1980 s.Although rural tourism in China started late,development is very rapid.In promoting rural economic development,the construction of socialist new countryside plays a more and more important role.Mentougou district is located in the western suburbs of Beijing.With the aid of abundant tourism resources and advantageous geographical conditions,the rural tourism developed rapidly in recent years.Mentougou district as the main research object,according to“ask questions-analysis problems-problems solving”research train of thought.Using the questionnaire,comparative analysis and other research methods in this paper.According to public product theory,market failure,government failure related theory,analyze rural tourism development of service-oriented government in the mentougou district.First,this paper introduces the basic situation of mentougou district rural tourism development.Analyzes the present situation of aspects in the tourism development of mentougou,such as the management pattern,reception environment and brand awareness.And carefully analyzed the main role of the government in policy development,development environment,publicity and guidance in the development of rural tourism in Mentougou District.At the same time,based on the field research and questionnaire survey methods,points out the shortcomings of the government in the administrative system,publicity and marketing,supporting services and other aspects.And analyzes the reasons from the aspects of attention,function division and planning guidance.Finally,on the basis of drawing on the advanced experience and practice abroad,this paper puts forward the main measures to strengthen the government function to promote the development of rural tourism in Mentougou area.That the government should be improved and deepen in the scientific planning,increase investment,strengthen the development of folk tourism and planning brand activities.
