Abusive supervision as a particularly negative leadership behavior has attracted more and more attentions from scholars at home and abroad when Tepper proposed the concept in 2000.Past research has found that abusive supervision will bring a series of negative emotions,negative psychology,behavior and negative performance,this study wants to continue to explore the negative effects of abusive supervisionon the basis of previous studies.Abusive supervision as subordinate perceived hostile behavior continued for a long time,has the characteristics of continuity,While most past research adopts cross sectional study,they can`t research the dynamic relationship between abusive supervision and its variables,so it is very necessary to have the longitudinal study.In addition,according to the effect of Weiner’s attribution theory we can know that subordinate will make the attribution of abusive supervision.Therefore,this study wants to continue to explore the negative effect of abusive supervision on active behavior and job burnout by longitudinal study,and analysis the effect of attribution between abusive supervision and subordinate Work behavior engagement,job burnout.First of all,this study puts forward the definition of active behavior according to the related literature of performance,behavior performance,job involvement,and the influencing factors of performance.Through the 30 employees of five cities,such as Shanghai,Shenzhen,we found that,when subordinate encounter abusive supervision,the majority of them will increase their work behavior to change their views of their superiors or complete the work better.At the same time,we compiled the scale of behavior engagement by the methods which Xiaqi Ding and Ruiyan Zhang used to compile the scale of subordinate-attributed authority development motivation.Then,on the basis of previous literature review,this study proposed the effect of abusive supervision and its attribution on active behaviorand job burnout.This study did a questionnaire survey to 400 employees in different companies in five cities,which refers to Beijing,Shanghai,Shenzhen,Tianjing,Hangzhou and 1144 valid questionnaires was received.Using SPSS19.0,AMOS21.0 and HLM statistical software,We obtained the following conclusions1.Abusive supervision has negative effect on active behaviorand has positive effect on job burnout.2.Subordinate-attributed performance promotion motivation and subordinateattributed injury initiation do not have Individual differences.Authority development motivations do not affect the relationship between abusive supervision and active behavior or job burnout.3.Abusive supervision,active behavior and job burnout will change over time,Abusive supervision and job burnout will have a significant rise in four measuring,whileactive behavior have a downward trend.Finally,we discuss the conclusions of this study and made a purposive interpretation of it.Based on the conclusions of this study,we also give the recommendations to the management of enterprises.At last,we discuss the innovation,limitation of this paper and the prospects for future research.
