For the sake of going out to exploit market,Sinopec has regrouped oil-field service sector.O ffshore Drilling Company(ODC)is affiliated with the new-formed Shengli oil engineering Co.Ltd.The mainly business of ODC is providing integrated drilling services,including five business unit: well drilling,sea state investigation,mud,well cementation and geology.Its market was positioned in Bohai Sea shallow shoal zone.In this paper,the problem about how to determine the company's market development strategy is studied,it is discussed from two aspects that are the demand aspect of the market and the company's ability.The author analyzes the domestic and foreign markets,the industry environment and internal strength of the company,studies the current situation of oil service companies at home and abroad and the competition characteristics of oil service industry market,determines the overall strategic goal of going to deep sea and internationalization development for the company.Determining area target market,tak ing the integration of green products and services at a lower price,expanding marketing channels,expanding the assets operation,could make sure the realization of the “three steps” strategy.Based on the PEST model,this pater analyzes the market and industry environment and selects the sequent markets at home and abroad in accordance with company's strategic goal using the theory of five strengths analysis tool.The classification based on Boston matrix is used to describe the company's business status and development direction and the innovative production and management and market security model is proposed in this paper.This paper analyzes oil service industry and competitor and takes domestic and international ocean petroleum service business market to do a certain data survey.And the paper makes sure the marketing strategy to guide the work of the enterprise business units,analysis relevant ideas in-depth and put forward suggestions.This paper is according to the knowledge learned in management,combined from personal perspective and the actual situation of the company to carry on analysis and research.It is hoped that these suggestions could be helpful for the development of the company in the reform of the company's market transformation.
