Recent years witnessed the fierce competition among global market,life cycle of the new products is being shorter and shorter while the customers’ expectations enhances unceasingly,enterprises must start to invest in supplier chain and pay attention to it;at the same time,with the rapid development of global economy integration,enterprises started their strategy for global development that includes global research and development,global sourcing,global production and global sales,marketing competition is changing from the competition among enterprises to the competition among the global supplier chain.In order to maximize the value of customers and to keep the sustainable competition advantage,each corporation has to work hart to create a fabulous supplier chain.As the source of supplier chain,suppliers are also the enterprises’ strategic chip to enhance its competitiveness.Suppliers’ value was not recognized enough during traditional trading procedures,under the pursuit of self-interest maximization,suppliers were always excluded;while in the new strategic purchasing background,enterprises and their suppliers are closely related partners in the same supplier chain,suppliers must be included in the design and development of new product,and enterprises must establish long-term strategic partnership and grow up together with their suppliers.Supplier performance evaluation is an important part of supplier management,which is the evaluation of the performance of the supplier management that has done and also the basis of the following supplier relationship adjustments.Supplier performance are closely related to the performance of the entire supplier chain,a reasonable and scientific supplier performance system is the necessity of the corporation’s sustainable development,which can also help the corporation to keep and enhance its core-competitiveness,so create a reasonable supplier performance system is becoming the priority among priorities during supplier management.In this thesis,some theoretical knowledge that related to supplier management and supplier performance evaluation will be introduced in the beginning,and then evaluate the supplier management of ST company by analyze the status of its suppliers and supplier management;design supplier performance evaluation index system and calculate the weight of each index Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process;calculate the performance result of each supplier based on Fuzzy Mathematics Assessment and finally analyze the existing problems in supplier management based on the results of Fuzzy Mathematics Assessment and advise how to optimize the suppliers of ST Company.
