Under the wave of global integration, enterprises are not only facing to the unprecedented opportunities, but also the severe challenges.Therefore the supply chain suffers the more complex competitive situation.And supplier selection and management is an important part of the supply chain, is an indispensable important segment.Regarding the Auto industry, it has its unique characteristics, which are different from other processing and manufacturing industry. In Auto industry supply chain management, the relationship between the core vehicle enterprise and its suppliers not just the buying and selling. The relationship is more in-depth, a kind of interdependence, and the advocacy of strategic partner. This more complex relationship highlights importance of supplier selection management. Only a set of reasonable and perfect supplier selection and management strategies, methods and processes, can make sure the supplier of selection for the development of the core vehicle enterprise is have stimulative effect, can move forward together with the core vehicle enterprise, assist the core vehicle enterprise control purchasing cost well, quantity of parts supply and keep advanced technology and so on. Under the condition of sustainable development, choosing the right suppliers can ensure core enterprises and its suppliers development and progress together.BBA automotive Ltd., as the joint venture in China, which was set up by the world's famous auto company, is facing the problems and difficulties in the supplier selecting management like other auto joint ventures. In this paper, the domestic and foreign research on supplier selection is summarized. On this basis, through the case of the text related description is easy to find: in the process of supplier selection, because of the procurement organization structure is not reasonable and select the process problems such as nonstandard, lead to the information sharing is uncomplete transparent among BBA, group headquarters and Beijing service; Due to the degree of information sharing is poor, the construction of index system of supplier selection cannot reflect the reality of the BBA company needs, makes the index weight distribution is not reasonable, suppliers quality problems; Global procurement mode, the suppliers of different types and importance to be chosen in the same way, makes the choice of suppliers can't meet the material classification and grading suppliers that BBA personalized needs. To solve these problems and reasons, in this paper, according to own actual work condition, scientific application of relevant theory of supplier selection. The current unfavorable situation, and then to achieve the Shenyang factory in accordance with their actual situation and the long-term development needs, the autonomy to select the right suppliers.Through the literature research and case study, this paper clarifies the problems and reasons of BBA in the supplier selection, and puts forward the corresponding improvement measures and suggestions, which has great guidance and reality for BBA's future supplier selection. Simultaneously, it also has a certain reference value for the choice of other automotive companies.
