Northwest hydroelectric construction consulting co.,LTD.Is a large in the construction of water conservancy and hydropower engineering consulting supervision unit,after years of development,the company has the highest level of qualification in the industry,and undertake the supervision work of dozens of large hydropower projects at home and abroad,has become a brand enterprise of our country's hydropower construction supervision industry.But with excessive domestic hydropower resources development in recent years,due to available resources is running out,unprecedented fierce competition in the industry.Although there are some unforeseen operational risks,but in the face of enormous pressure to survive,the northwest hydroelectric construction consulting company must through the implementation of the strategy of diversifying,develop new markets,in order to achieve their strategic transformation to engineering units by consulting supervision unit.This article was to explore the related diversification strategy,on the basis of theory research status,the key success factors of hydropower construction industry has carried on the investigation and analysis,it is concluded that the industry key success factors including technical support capability,ability construction process management,human resources guarantee ability of QHSE management system perfect,the total cost control ability of five kinds of relevant factors,the external environment of northwest hydroelectric construction consulting company is analyzed,its technological environment facing the industry competition,strategic alliance mode,industry characteristics,potential competitors,high barriers to entry several opportunities,also face the national policy environment,market economy environment,natural environment,increasingly fierce competition in the industry,and many other external threats.Then,using the method of investigation of the company internal resources analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the investigation,it is concluded that the relative advantage in survey and design,construction process management ability,technical support capability,total cost control,etc;Relative disadvantage in marketing management,procurement knowledge support capability,etc.By adopting the method of SWOT matrix,and then,the company diversified strategic alternatives,including weakening technology related diversification,market diversification,market diversification.Again,optional strategy of diversifying the company has carried on the qualitative and quantitative evaluation,analysis its future in the diversified strategy implementation should be in accordance with the on the basis of the ongoing reconstruction strategy,strategic alliance as an opportunity to implement the strategy of technology related diversification.Finally,in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the company's diversification strategy,from strengthening market development ability,improve human resources guarantee ability,improving QHSE management system and improve ability to resist risk and so on several aspects put forward the corresponding implementing Suggestions.
