Research On China National Nuclear Corporation FuQing Nuclear Reactor Coolant Pump Project Risk Management

The nuclear reactor coolant pump(RCP) is one of the main equipment of the nuclear power plant, it is a complicated system with high technical and difficulty manufacture, need many different supporting, the design and manufacture are the emphasis and difficulty in China own nuclear power equipment manufacture. China national nuclear corporation, Harbin electric corporation, Andritz AG with the fuqing nuclear plant, contract signed the contract include 12 sets of RCPs, to so finalize the RCP localization tasks.Base on the fuqing nuclear reactor coolant pump project manufacture risk management,this thesis briefly on the development and research of the project management and project risk management in China and abroad, and the status of fuqing RCP project and its risk management. According to the features of the project, using the project risk management, risk identification, risk assessment, risk monitoring and risk strategy, discuss the methods and tools used in fuqing RCP project risk management: qualitative analysis all risks by flow chart and critical pathway of the project schedule, then quantitative analysis the risk by define the risk level and risk trend, this will provide a clean information for compare and decision. All risk information is store for the root reason analysis and monitoring, will also give the same or similar risk a guidance solution for the further risk management.The improvement of the scientificity of the fuqing nuclear reactor coolant pump project manufacture risk management will make the complete management system more succinct: the dedicated risk monitoring and efficiency risk strategy, will lead the project goes more smoothly.This research will support the further improvement of fuqing RCP project risk management; also can be used as the reference in the other nuclear power equipment manufacture projects.
