World cruise,with the history of more than 100 years in foreign countries,has formed a huge and complete industrial chain.Cruise tourism has become the first choice for many people to travel abroad.Taking a look at the layout of the world cruise market,the development of the Asia Pacific region is developing rapidly and the cruise tourists reception growth rate has been far more than that of Europe and the United States and other regions.Because that China has a huge population base,per capita income continues to improve,and the government strongly supports the tourism industry,so the momentum of the cruise market development is rapid.In 2016,there were 3.699 million passengers in Chinese cruise market and the total income was 6.73 billion yuan,and the cruise market revenue grew by 47.6%.It's predicted by The International Cruises Association that global cruise passengers will reach30 million people by 2020 and it is expected to contribute 51 billion yuan to the Chinese economy by 2020.More and more international operators begin to pay attention to China's huge potential market,increasing the ships,constituting of new fleet,expanding market efforts to seize the Chinese Cruise Market share.Although the Chinese market is a huge potential tourist market,which brings a wealth of opportunities for cruise operators,there are still many problems to be confronted with.Due to the different cultures and customs,the Chinese and Western cruise tourists have great differences in the demand for experience.If you ignore the behavior characteristics and cultural preferences of Chinese Cruise tourists,and blindly developing the cruise tourism products,the consumers will be lost and the expansion of the market will be restricted.Based on this,this article from the perspective of experience,through the comparative analysis of Chinese tourists' cruise product demand and the existing cruise tourism market's supply,find out the gap,and put forward specific strategies to solve these problems.It aims at improving the design of tourism products on the aspects of the time,route and others factors,bringing glorious memories and experiences for the cruise tourists,and promoting the development of cruise economy in China.The contents of the research include the following parts:First,explain the relevant concepts and analyze the relevant theories.Lay the theoretical foundation for the next study.This paper discusses the concept of cruise tourism and cruise tourism products,and the theories of experience economy and tourism experience to provide the theoretical basis for the study of the relationship between tourism experience and cruise tourism product development.Second,summarize the status of supply and awareness and demand situation of domestic tourists on the cruise tourism.Summarize the supply situation of the existing cruise tourism market and analyze the demand of cruise tourism products in China by means of questionnaires,so as to make market segmentation,market positioning and then compare supply and demand to find out the gap and differences between them and figure out the negative factors of influencing cruise ship cruise experience.Finally,propose the development strategy.Development should first follows a certain principle,so as to ensure the development is reasonable,scientific and sustainable.On the basis of these principles,this paper puts forward the development strategy to meet the needs of Chinese cruise tourists in the aspects of market positioning,fortification experience,theme and route design of cruise ship products.At present,Chinese cruise tourism is still in its infancy,and there is still a large gap compared to the cruise economy development in Europe and the United States.Through this study,the author hopes to develop cruise tourism products suitable for Chinese national conditions,in line with Chinese cruise tourists preferences and meeting our cruise Tourists' demands,thereby enhancing the local cruise ships' market share,promoting the development of Chinese cruise tourism,and then driving our cruise tourism economy.
