The Influence Of Towns Insurance On Urban Integration

With the deepening of the reform and open policy,large amounts of rural surplus labor swarmed into cities,rural-to-urban migrant workers' survival level in city have been concerned by Chinese society and academia.With the development of urbanization,whether rural-to-urban migrant workers can be successfully adapted to urban life,integrated into urban life has become a great concern.At the same time,the matter of old-age security for rural migrant workers has been drawing much attention from the government and many domestic scholars,the system construction and the present situation of the pension protection is worrying.In this context,the article tries to study the relationship between old-age security and integration of rural-to-urban migrant workers,hoping to provide more researching ways for more scholars who concern about it.Firstly,the research background and significance of rural-to-urban migrant workers' old-age security and integration,then reviews the development of migrant workers' institution of rural social pension insurance.On this basis,in this paper,make use of the survey data in Wuhan,Hubei Province;mainly elaborate the present status and characteristics of rural-to-urban migrant workers' old-age security and integration.Analysis the influence of the social pension insurance on urban integration of migrant workers by using analytical method.In this article,I also analysis the heterogeneity in migrant workers' effect on urban integration.Finally,there is the empirical research:(1)The rate of migrant workers' social pension insurance is low and the status quo of urban integration is not optimistic.(2)Join the insurance system for the retired can promote urban integration of rural-to-urban migrant workers.(3)Compared with those of last era,the impact on urban integration of joining in the insurance system for the retired for the second generation is more significant.
