YC Bank Internationalization Strategy Research

With the implementation of several global strategies in China such as “going out” for Chinese enterprises,yuan internationalization and “One Road,One Belt” initiative,internationalization of China's commercial banks has been an inevitable choice.Meanwhile,global financial system begins post-crisis order reconstruction and resourse integration due to the new pattern of the world economy which had undergone profound changes.These construed the background of the scare historical opportunity for the internationalization of China's commercial banks.However,compared with the commercial banks of the developed countries,the international strategic planning level of China bank is still low,the theoretical research is rooted in the foreign research results mainly,and the empirical research is relatively rare.It is to speed up internationalization of commercial banks,to establish a reasonable international strategy,to change with situations,to transform with time and to maintain vitality that can enable commercial banks to enhance international market competitiveness.This thesis studied the internationalized strategy of YC Bank with the relevant knowledge and various literature resources learned during the period of pursuing MBA.The thesis firstly defined the related concepts and basic theories of the internationalized strategy of the bank,including the internationalized motivation theory and the internationalized strategic theory of the bank,and the analysis method-“SWOT”.Then it introduced the development course and current situation of YC Bank,which lead to the strategic demand of internationalization.By the reference of the experience and enlightenment of successful internationalization of foreign banks,the thesis made an “SWOT” analysis on the YC Bank.Also,the thesis found out internationalized strategies adapted to YC Bank's own development and a compatible security system by linking theory with practice.
